Evolutionary Ecologist
and Science Communicator

ABOUT ME
I am an evolutionary ecologist at the University of Cambridge, with a passion for innovative science communication and teaching. My current study system is the gruesomely fascinating burying beetle – check out my publications section below to find out more about my research. I use radio, film, live talks and social media to engage the public with the natural world and the scientists and practitioners behind the headlines. When I’m not in the field or lab conducting experiments and collecting data, teaching undergraduate students in evolution and ecology, or in the radio studio interviewing fascinating people, I love pushing the boundaries of flightless travel - using trains, buses or boats to stray off the beaten track with my recording equipment to capture new gems.
